The IFMNS Story

A PR & Influencer Kit Packaging Case Study

Created for the launch of the IFMNS Caviar Collection, this packaging project focused on transforming the brand’s signature serum bottle into a fully immersive PR and influencer kit experience. The goal was to create packaging that immediately felt recognizable, sculptural, and visually tied to the product itself.

The Brief

IFMNS approached Boxtales to develop launch packaging that would stand out visually across both physical events and digital content. The box needed to feel premium, distinctive, and instantly connected to the brand’s product identity .

The Vision

Rather than creating a traditional rectangular PR box, the vision centered around designing a structure inspired directly by the IFMNS serum bottle itself. The packaging needed to feel bold, modern, and instantly recognizable while still maintaining a refined luxury finish.

The Challenge

One of the biggest challenges was translating the curved form of the serum bottle into a functional rigid box structure without losing durability or presentation quality. The design required precise die cutting, fabrication, and structural planning to achieve smooth rounded edges while maintaining stability throughout the build. The packaging also needed to balance visual impact with practicality, ensuring the final structure remained strong enough for handling, transport, and repeated opening while still feeling clean and seamless from every angle.

The Boxtales Process

To bring the concept to life, we developed the structure using 1200 GSM Kappa board combined with custom die cutting, stitching, semi-circle rounding, and detailed fabrication techniques to achieve the sculptural cylindrical form.

The exterior was wrapped using 170 GSM gold laminated paper selected to create depth, richness, and a soft reflective finish that complemented the IFMNS Caviar Collection branding. Careful attention was given to alignment, edge finishing, and curvature to ensure the final piece felt refined from every angle.

Throughout the development process, multiple structural refinements were made to maintain the proportions of the original serum bottle while adapting it into a functional packaging experience suitable for PR launches and influencer gifting.

The final outcome was a visually distinctive launch box that immediately connected recipients back to the IFMNS product itself. By transforming the serum bottle into a structural packaging experience, the final design felt immersive, memorable, and highly recognizable across both physical interactions and digital content.
